Así, podrá realizarse fácilmente todo tipo de rodajas, rallados, macedonias y hasta cintas de hortalizas de 2 x 10 mm (calabacines, apio, zanahorias…) para cocerlas al vapor, bastoncitos de hortalizas para «terrinas», cubitos de pepinillo de 5 x 5 x 5 mm para taboulé o de 25 x 25 x 25 mm para ensaladas de frutas y hortalizas para cuscús.
